e5 Bakehouse was founded in 2010 by Ben, who learned sourdough bread-making at the School of Artisan Food. He built a clay oven in a railway arch and started baking bread for local chefs and the community. e5 Bakehouse sources local ingredients and works with farmers who share their vision of an Agrarian Renaissance. They strive to operate their business in an ethical manner and share their food with as many people as possible. Their bread is famous across London and we wouldn't use anything else to make our toasts and sandwiches!
McKanna Meats Ltd is a Central London based butchers. Having been open for many years they have great knowledge and experience in butchering, and this, combined with the quality of their produce, is the reason Karma Cans have used McKanna's as its meat supplier since inception. For great quality meats, all reliably sourced, there is no other local butcher that competes.
The Forman family has been curing and smoking fish in the East End of London since 1905. Today the smokehouse produces H. Forman & Son specialities for Karma Cans, along with leading food retailers, restaurants and fine dining establishments across the globe. From loch to larder in 48 hours, freshness is everything and one of H. Forman & Son's guiding principles is that quality and flavour always come first.

Demand for office catering disappeared overnight when COVID-19 hit so we turned our focus to catering 1000 meals a day for the NHS. And the summer of 2021 saw us host a series of sold-out rooftop BBQs at Hoxton Docks with sizzling food and flowing rosé. Watch this space for our next venture.
